Configure DeepCharts, step by step
Every setting, tab by tab: what it does, its default, and what to watch for. Grouped by module, since DeepChart, DeepDom and DeepGamma are licensed separately. Written from our own use of the platform.
DeepChart
Getting started
How to install DeepCharts and get it running
Thirteen steps from the installer download to a live chart: system requirements, licence key, data feed, simulation account.
Connecting a data feed to DeepCharts, step by step
Nine steps from the my.deepcharts.com portal to the first data displayed on the chart, with the most frequent trap.
Deep Indicators
Deep Trades: the complete settings, tab by tab
Display area, filtering, colors, marker size and alerts: every setting explained with its default value and its visual effect.
Deep V Tracker: setting up the patterns and the Absorption Pressure module
Two modules, two configuration logics: pattern intensity and color on one side, pressure and absorption thresholds on the other.
Deep Profile Values: the complete settings, panel by panel
A volume profile without a histogram to draw: only the key levels (POC, Value Area, VWAP) show up. Every settings panel explained.
Speed of Tape: the complete settings, tab by tab
A vertical histogram under the chart that measures how fast the market is moving. The time window is the one setting everything else builds on.
DeepDom
Deep Indicators
Deep Liquidity Scan: the complete setup, section by section
Depth analysed, level weighting, fresh or persistent filter, delta and axes: every setting and what it changes in the reading.
Deep Reload: the complete setup, section by section
Automatic or manual threshold, triggering volume, pull size, width of the watched zone and trend filter: the three sections of the fresh liquidity detector.
Volume Bubbles: the complete setup, section by section
Display mode, filtering thresholds, diameter scaling, 2D or 3D rendering and grouping: the four sections that decide what you see of the tape.
Session Imbalance: the complete setup, section by section
Initial Balance length, your venue's opening time, line extension and projections: the four sections and the one setting that invalidates everything if you forget it.
VWAP and envelopes: the complete setup, section by section
Calculation period, reset on the regular session, standard deviation or percentage, and three envelopes enabled one by one.
