The NQ's US session: 3:30 pm to 10 pm
The Nasdaq hour by hour, from the Globex book to the closing cross
Six and a half hours that decide almost everything. The Globex terrain and the NQ's thin book, the day hour by hour up to the 9:50 pm MOC flow, the seven stocks that make the index and earnings season, the intermarket (NQ / ES ratio, rates, VXN), four session cards including a non-trade, then sizing by volatility, slippage, the funded account and the journal by regime.
What you will be able to do
- 01Read the NQ book for what it is: a big contract on a thin book, where a wall is measured in proportion and a stop run is cheap
- 02Split the US session into regimes and trade only its two readable windows, with the 9:50 pm MOC flow as an exit filter
- 03Infer the invisible stock book from the leaders, and know when arbitrage, not a participant, stops a move
- 04Qualify every setup with three witnesses (leaders, ES, ZN) and recalibrate every distance on the day's VXN
- 05Apply four session cards, one of them a non-trade, and keep a journal by window and by regime on a funded account
Who it is for
For those who already read the footprint, delta and heatmap on the NQ and know its ten setups. The NQ and Heatmap courses are the prerequisite; the Trading Floor course helps for microstructure, the GEX course for module 4, neither is required.
