The NQ's US session: 3:30 pm to 10 pm

Module 01 · 1 · The Globex terrain for the NQLesson 1 of 299 min🔒 Students only

Globex and FIFO: the queue you join

What this course assumes, and what it adds

You already read the footprint, delta and heatmap. You know the ten setups of the NQ course and the general microstructure of the Trading Floor course. This course does not go over them again. It takes the trader who can read a book and puts them on one single thing: the NQ's American session, from 3:30 pm to 10 pm Paris time, with everything that shapes it around.

Why a whole course on six and a half hours? Because that is where almost all of your result is decided, and because the NQ, in that window, does not behave like the ES or the FDAX. The book is thin, the index is pulled by a handful of stocks, volatility is the highest of the four US indices, and the day has a very precise hourly structure that most traders suffer instead of reading.
