The NQ's US session: 3:30 pm to 10 pm

Module 06 · 6 · Risk, execution and journalLesson 28 of 299 min🔒 Students only

The journal by window and by regime

The NQ course asks for a journal. The FDAX course adds the window. This course adds the regime, because on the NQ the same card does not have the same expectancy depending on the VXN, on who leads, and on the number of witnesses agreeing at entry. Without those columns, an NQ journal shows an average expectancy that does not exist.

The columns specific to this course

For each trade, in addition to time, setup, entry, stop and result in R:

The review at twenty trades, then at fifty

At twenty trades, sort by window. The result is almost always the same: the lull loses, the open wins, the afternoon wins a little less with fewer trades. If the lull contains no trade, card 3 is respected, and that is the journal's first objective.
