Deep Replay

Replay a session order by order, to the tick, to train on real order flow.

The principle

You don't improve at order flow without repetition. Deep Replay replays past market exactly as it happened — every order and every liquidity change, to the tick and the second — to train your reading of the flow without risking a cent.

What DeepCharts does better

Since v15.6, DeepCharts automatically stores MBO data locally while you trade: your own order-by-order history feeds the replay. Replaying liquidity and executions at that granularity — not just candles — is what most backtesters lack, and exactly where DeepCharts stands out.

Using it day to day

Day to day, use it for two things: reviewing your sessions (replay a key moment to understand what the flow was saying) and training (read the heatmap and footprint blind, then check). It's the fastest way to build your reading between live sessions.

In a real situation

Example: after a loss, you replay the session in Deep Replay. Slowed down at the entry moment, you see the heatmap showed an iceberg holding against you and a delta already diverging. The lesson becomes concrete, not theoretical.

The trap to avoid

The trap: replaying while knowing what happens next. Hindsight bias corrupts practice: hide the right side of the chart, make decisions blind, then compare. Otherwise you confirm your beliefs instead of learning.

Combine it with

Combine it with the footprint, the heatmap and the Deep Pattern Builder: replay a session to spot a recurring pattern, then code it and backtest it.

Order-flow platform · DeepCharts
Read the order book order-by-order (MBO) on CME (NQ, ES) & Eurex (FDAX) — heatmap & footprint.
Code OFFPair it with a prop firm (Phidias) to start with controlled risk.
Enter the code when you activate DeepCharts.
Heads-up: the DeepCharts version bundled by prop firms isn't the full license — for every tool, take your own (code OFF).

FAQ

What is Deep Replay?+

A DeepCharts module that replays past market order by order, to the tick and the second, to train your order-flow reading (heatmap, footprint, DOM) risk-free.

What does the v15.6 local MBO storage add?+

DeepCharts automatically collects and stores your MBO data locally while you use it: that own order-by-order history then feeds the replay with a granularity few backtesters offer.

How do I practice well with it?+

Hide the rest of the chart and make decisions blind before checking, to avoid hindsight bias. Replaying while knowing the ending teaches nothing.
