The honest answer

Is DeepCharts free?

What you can genuinely use without paying, what a prop firm actually bundles into its evaluation, and what simply does not exist.

Is the DeepCharts build bundled by a prop firm enough?

Not for everything. The build a prop firm bundles does not unlock the full indicator set of the complete license. To get every tool, including full MBO depth on the order book, you need your own license. Our partner link takes 10% off the yearly Orderflow plans, with no code to enter.

How do you read order flow on a MyFundedFutures account?

MyFundedFutures lists DeepChart and DeepDom among its platforms and connects them through the account dxFeed credentials, which the firm emails you. In the startup wizard you pick dxFeed as the feed source and Propfirm as the server. The build the firm hands you does not unlock every indicator.

The short answer

No, the platform license is not free, and nobody gives it away. But three things around it genuinely cost nothing, and one prop firm route puts a working DeepCharts in your hands for the price of a challenge you were going to buy anyway. The rest of this page separates the two honestly, because the gap between them is exactly where people waste a month.

What is genuinely free

Checked on the vendor's own pricing page on 6 October 2026.

  • A 15-minute delayed data feed, included. Powered by dxFeed and bundled with the platform. It will not let you read order flow live, where seconds decide, but it does let you open the software, lay out your workspace and learn the tools before paying for a real-time subscription.
  • Demo trading accounts. Set a balance, trade in safe mode, and run the replay on past sessions. This is where the learning happens, and it costs nothing beyond the license.
  • DeepDom, free for three months for new users. The MBO order book module is bundled on every plan for new customers. It is the part that shows the liquidity heatmap, and it is normally a separate license.

What is never free is the real-time market data. It is signed in your own name with dxFeed, Rithmic or CQG, and billed by them, not by DeepCharts. The full budget, license plus feed plus MBO depth, is laid out on our pricing page.

What a prop firm actually gives you

This is the route most people are really asking about, and the answer depends on the firm. Three situations, taken from our own firm records.

Included outright

DeepCharts comes with the account, no separate purchase.

Available as an option

The platform is offered, and on several of these a basic build already runs during the evaluation. The advanced indicators stay behind the platform license.

The MyFundedFutures case, step by step

It is the question we see most often, so here is the precise answer. The basic build is genuinely included and runs from the evaluation onward. You connect it with the dxFeed credentials the firm emails you, and in the startup wizard you pick dxFeed as the feed source and Propfirm as the server.

  1. From the MFFU dashboard, click Platforms, then Deepchart/Deepdom.
  2. Log in to the dxFeed web portal with the credentials MFFU emails you.
  3. Pick your platform and sign the market-data agreements.
  4. Download from the Download Platform section of the dxFeed dashboard.
  5. In the startup wizard: dxFeed as the feed source, Propfirm as the server.
  6. Select the MFFU data feed in the platform dashboard, connection indicator green.

Where it stops: the bundled build does not unlock the full indicator set. The proprietary models, the ones most people came for, need the platform license bought from the vendor. The honest way to put it is that the firm gets you reading, and the license gets you reading everything. Full detail on our MyFundedFutures review.

Two things that do not exist

The DeepChart platform license is sold as a subscription, with no lifetime option. DeepDom is the one exception we found: its own pricing page offers a Lifetime Addon period. Anywhere else, a perpetual key for the platform is not a DeepCharts product.

A cracked build cannot do what people hope either, and the reason is structural rather than moral: the software is worthless without a market data subscription signed in your own name with dxFeed, Rithmic or CQG. A pirated copy therefore gives you an empty chart, no updates, no support, and an executable of unknown origin running on the machine where your trading accounts are open. The maths does not work even for someone who does not care about the licensing.

And on a Mac

Windows only. On a Mac it runs inside Parallels Desktop, which is the setup our community uses. It is worth knowing before you pay, not after: this is the single most common reason a new licence goes unused.

So what should you do

If you want to find out whether order flow suits you, start with a firm that bundles it and the free delayed feed: it costs you nothing beyond the challenge you were buying. If you already know you want to read the book properly, the platform license is the step that unlocks the proprietary models, and our partner link takes a cut off the yearly plans that appears on no public grid.

Code OFFNow: Orderflow at $486 a year instead of $540 through our link
Our partner link does two things: it applies whatever discount DeepCharts is running, and it takes a further 10% off the yearly Orderflow plan, a cut that appears on no public grid. Automatically, with no code to enter.
Pair it with a prop firm (Phidias) to start with controlled risk.
Heads-up: the DeepCharts version bundled by prop firms isn't the full license: for every tool, take your own (code OFF).

FAQ

Is there a free version of DeepCharts?+

There is no free tier of the platform license. What is free, checked at the vendor on 6 October 2026: a 15-minute delayed dxFeed data feed included with the platform, demo trading accounts to practise in safe mode, and DeepDom offered for three months to new users. Reading order flow live needs a real-time feed, which is billed separately.

Can I use DeepCharts for free with MyFundedFutures?+

Partly. MyFundedFutures bundles the basic DeepCharts build, which runs from the evaluation onward, connected through the dxFeed credentials the firm emails you. It is genuinely included in the challenge price. What it does not unlock is the advanced indicator set, which needs the platform license bought separately from the vendor.

Is there a DeepCharts free trial?+

Not on the platform license itself. New users do get DeepDom, the MBO order book module, free for three months on every plan, and the demo trading accounts let you practise without risking money. The 15-minute delayed feed also lets you open the software and look around before paying for real-time data.

Which prop firms include DeepCharts?+

Phidias includes it outright. MyFundedFutures, Alpha Futures, Goat Funded Futures, YRM Prop and Swiss Firmup offer it as an option, most of them with a basic build already running in the evaluation. Apex, Topstep, Tradeify, Take Profit Trader, Elite Trader Funding and Bulenox do not offer it at all.

Is there a DeepCharts lifetime license or a cracked version?+

The DeepChart platform license is a subscription, with no lifetime option. DeepDom is the exception: its pricing page offers a Lifetime Addon alongside the monthly and yearly periods, so check it there rather than trusting a third-party claim. As for cracked builds, they cannot work the way people hope. The software is useless without a market data subscription signed in your own name with dxFeed, Rithmic or CQG, so a pirated build gives you an empty chart, no updates, and an executable from an unknown source on the machine where you trade.

Does DeepCharts run on a Mac?+

Not natively. The vendor's own pricing page states it is available for Windows only. On a Mac it runs inside Parallels Desktop, which is what our community uses, so budget the Parallels license and a Windows license on top.
