The liquidity walls visible on the heatmap (orange and red bands, old ones) act as dynamic supports and resistances. Price arrives, tests the wall, and if the wall holds, moves off in the opposite direction. This is the simplest setup to see, and the first one to learn: it trains you to tell a real wall from a decoy.
Procedure, long case
- Identify a wall that has been stable for more than five minutes, at or just below a structural reference (HVN, VAL, VWAP).
- Price approaches to within three points. In the footprint, the selling aggression slows down: the delta becomes less negative candle after candle.
- An iceberg at the wall's level? If the Iceberg Detector lights up at the same price, the confluence is strong.
- Enter on the first candle that closes above the low reached on contact with the wall.
