GEX (MM), H-GEX and C/P OI (R): DeepCharts' gamma columns against the order book

Common traps and the checklist before using a level
GEX describes a mechanical balance of forces, not a direction. It says how price is likely to behave at a level, never whether it will get there. The whole November 3 session shows it: levels moved within twenty minutes, two GEX models contradicted each other, an exhaustion signal was proven wrong by what followed, and a good level was only worth half size. This lesson gathers the traps these captures brought to light, then the checklist to run through before using a gamma level, which you can tick to practice.
