GEX (MM), H-GEX and C/P OI (R): DeepCharts' gamma columns against the order book

Module 06 · 6 · Method, limits and sourcesLesson 31 of 326 min🔒 Students only

Glossary, points to check and sources

This course mixes options vocabulary, order book vocabulary and the names of DeepCharts indicators. The glossary below covers every term used, in alphabetical order. Next come the screen elements that remain to be confirmed in the platform's settings, because the documentation does not describe them or the capture does not identify them for sure. Last, the sources: the DeepCharts documentation consulted on November 3, 2026, and the external reference used for the GEX formula.

Points to check in your settings

Values were read on the captures. Some are estimates to within a few ticks, and several elements remain to be confirmed by hovering over the indicators:

  • the M.M: Δ column (Dex or Net Flow?);
  • the two Deep Gamma Delta panels (contracts × delta or × gamma, client or market maker point of view);
  • the green and salmon band under price (M.M. Sentiment?) and the red and green band under the SPX → ES chart;
  • the thin blue-purple line under price (a Gamma Envelopes series?), the white and cyan curves on capture 1 and the dotted cyan line at 7,582;
