Europe's major derivatives exchange (Deutsche Börse group), home of the FDAX, Euro Stoxx 50 and Bund. The prop firm industry's blind spot — nearly all stop at CME.
Eurex is Europe's counterpart to the CME: European index futures (DAX 40, Euro Stoxx 50) and rates futures (Bund, Bobl, Schatz) trade there. Its data and connectivity cost more than CME's, which is why nearly every prop firm ignores it — and why funded-trader competition is so thin. Extended trading hours, but real liquidity concentrates between 8am and 5:30pm (Paris), then follows the US open.
