Iceberg, sniper, liquidity-seeking: reading the footprint
"Hidden" algos still leave traces. Three families to recognize.
The iceberg
- The level absorbs far more than the displayed size (BT/AT well above the size in the book).
- It reloads instantly after every execution: the color of the band comes right back on the heatmap.
- A sign of accumulation or distribution by a large player, defending their average price.
On DeepCharts, the Iceberg Detector spots the reload pattern thanks to order-by-order data: a clip consumed then re-posted at the same price, again and again.
