An imbalance marks a level where one side crushed the other (aggressive volume at 3 to 1 or more, on the diagonal). Stacked, they form a zone of strength. The market often comes back to test these zones: if they hold, it is a continuation entry with a clean stop; if they give way without a reaction, the trend is broken.
