Institutional Order Flow: NQ Futures

Module 03 · The toolboxLesson 8 of 268 min🔒 Students only

DeepDom: the quick reference

DeepDom paints the resting liquidity: every limit order, colored by its size, stacked over time. In the default palette, the scale goes from dark to bright: deep blue for ordinary liquidity, white then yellow as size grows, orange and red for unusual concentrations. The scale recalibrates on the largest order displayed: your eye always goes to what matters right now.

The advanced DOM columns to watch

  • Bid / Ask: the size resting at each level.
  • B.PS / A.PS (Pull / Stack): what has just been added or pulled. A wall that pulls just before contact is a false support.
  • BT / AT: the volume executed at market on the sell side and on the buy side. Compare it with the displayed size: a level that takes far more than what it shows is hiding an iceberg.
  • Offers: the number of orders making up a level. One 300-lot order does not mean the same thing as fifty orders of 6.
