Options flow and GEX: reading SPX context to trade ES and NQ
Module 05 · 5 · The two regimes and your order flowLesson 17 of 3111 min🔒 Students only
The same absorption in both regimes
This is the central point of the course. It fits in one sentence: your order flow read does not change with the regime. Its meaning does.
Above the flip
An absorption at a level, in a positive regime, is an institutional limit with a hedging flow pushing the same way behind it. Price approaches the call wall, an offer absorbs the buy aggression and reloads; meanwhile, market makers sell ES into strength. Your fade has a tailwind. Two players, one of them mechanical, are working for you.
