Trading the heatmap with DeepDom

Module 06 · The methodLesson 18 of 277 min🔒 Students only

Setup 2 · Absorption reversal

Premium. An aggressive move runs into a large passive wall that takes everything without giving way. Enormous volume (BT/AT, bubble clusters), flat price. When the aggression is exhausted, the reversal happens in the absorber's direction. One of the most reliable setups in order flow, because it combines a proven defense and a drained attack.

What you need to see

  • A persistent wall, hit by a cluster of large opposing bubbles.
  • Executed volume well above the displayed size: probable iceberg, sometimes flagged by the Iceberg Detector or Deep Wall.
  • A price that does not progress, or by one tick, despite the attack.
  • A CVD divergence forming during the absorption.
