Trading the heatmap with DeepDom

Module 07 · RiskLesson 23 of 278 min🔒 Students only

Money management: the real source of profitability

No heatmap read makes you profitable without money management. Profitability comes from repeated positive expectancy and from survival, not from one perfect trade. A good order flow reader with poor management ends up at zero; an average reader with good management survives and compounds.

The four rules

Risk per trade ≤ 1%. Never risk more than 0.5 to 1% of capital on one idea. Position size is calculated from the stop, not the other way around: contracts = (capital × risk %) ÷ (stop ticks × tick value).

R:R ≥ 2. Only take trades where the target (a band of real liquidity) is worth at least twice the risk. With an R:R of 2, you can be wrong 60% of the time and stay profitable.
