GEX (MM), H-GEX and C/P OI (R): DeepCharts' gamma columns against the order book

Module 02 · 2 · The three columns, one by oneLesson 10 of 329 min🔒 Students only

Combined reading: the six strike profiles

A level is only strong if the three columns tell the same story. The method fits in one sentence: always read the strike horizontally, from GEX (MM) to H-GEX then to C/P OI (R), then check it against price and the book. Depending on what the three columns show, a strike falls into one of the six profiles below. Profiles 1 to 3 are the clearest; profiles 4 to 6 call for more caution. This classification does not give you a trade: it tells you what behavior to expect on contact, and therefore which signal to look for in the book to confirm or reject it.
