Reading gamma on ES with DeepGamma: one session, step by step
Module 06 · 6 · Method, limits and glossaryLesson 20 of 2310 min🔒 Students only
The method step by step: from scene to trigger
Gamma gives you the scene (where and how price should react); order flow gives you the trigger (is price really reacting). DeepCharts itself recommends never using these levels as a standalone signal.
Before the cash open (2:30 pm)
- Note the Zero Gamma and where price sits relative to it: which regime at the start?
- Note the two positive and two negative levels, and their number of triangles.
- Compare with the GEX (MM) column: spot the strikes where "(V)" and MM disagree.
- Look at H-GEX to spot the empty zones price would cross quickly.
- Note the day's macro releases: they can override everything.
